Michelle Sadrena Clark is the Co-Director of the Share Your Learning Campaign, Project Co-Director of the Deeper Learning Hub, Coordinator of HTH submissions to Ed Week's Learning Deeply Blog, and the lead facilitator of the Equity Deep Dive for the Center for Research on Equity and Innovation at High Tech High Graduate School of Education. She has fifteen years experience as a secondary school educator with notable expertise in project based learning. Her students' projects have garnered regional and national attention for their ability to invite students to think critically and act empathetically. A winner of numerous accolades for competitive public speaking through Toastmasters International, her most notable speaking engagements include the 2014 USC Shoah Foundation Gala when Steven Spielberg honored President Barack Obama with the Ambassador for Humanity Award, TEDx Hollywood, and the Past is Present 70th commemoration of the liberation of Auschwitz. Michelle holds a B.A. in International Studies, an M.P.I.A. in International Relations, a Single Subject Credential in Social Science, and she is currently earning her Ed.D in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on social justice at the University of California, San Diego and California State University, San Marcos. Her research is centered around the promotion of Culturally Responsive Pedagogy particularly as it pertains to inservice teachers who earned their credential prior to the proliferation of culturally responsive courses in teacher preparation programs.
