The History of Racism in America and How to Talk About It
Limited Capacity seats available

Join award-winning filmmaker and author Loki Mulholland as he provides helpful insights on how to talk with your students about racism based on the lessons he learned from his mother and Civil Right Icon, Joan Trumpauer Mulholland. Participants will view several movie clips from the feature documentary, "The Uncomfortable Truth" and be guided through discussion and reflection on inherent bias and racism from years past to present day.


The film THE UNCOMFORTABLE TRUTH will be screened in its entirety on Friday, May 23 at 7:00 PM in the Rose Garden. Director Loki Mulholland and his mother, Joan Trumpauer Mulholland, will be present to host and answer questions after the screening.
