Teachers will learn how to engage students with primary and secondary sources as they learn about the people and events of the American Revolution. Students will be able to connect the experiences of those who lived during that time to people who are affected by modern warfare, including combatants, their families and communities. Teachers will be provided with simple and inexpensive hands-on experiences for their students and ideas for higher level thinking combining ELA and social studies.
