Aurora Mardiganian, an Armenian Genocide survivor, recounted the horrors she faced during the Genocide in her memoir, Ravished Armenia (1918). The memoir was adapted into a film, in which Aurora played herself. U.S. filmmakers exploited Aurora physically and psychologically for profit. Hear her story in her own words and explore activities that shed light on this disturbing time in history.
