When award-winning filmmaker Loki Mulholland (“An Ordinary Hero”) dives into his family history he is confronted with the shocking reality of his family’s true slaveholding past and their deep connection to the roots of American history. Through engrossing storytelling and captivating visuals, Loki Mulholland and Civil Rights Activist Luvaghn Brown take us on a comprehensive, insightful and gut-wrenching exploration of our nation’s past and the way forward.
