Educators will explore the history of the Armenian Genocide through the testimony of Margaret Der Manuelian. As an Armenian American who survived the Armenian Genocide, her story illuminates not only the first modern genocide of the 20th century, but also allows educators to make connections to important current issues including immigration, human rights, and political activism.
